Solick – Smooth and slick
Solick is best served ice cold, it’s a spirit lifting drink that will give your guests a refreshing feeling so they can ease into the mingling crowd and upcoming activities. The sourly sweet taste and the dryness will surely clean up their palate and make your guests come back for more.
One of the main ingredients used is Grigio white wine, also known as Pinot Grigio. Being the second most popular white wine in America, the Pinot Grigio (Pinot Gris in French) is a dry white wine that has a punchy acidity with flavors of lemons, limes, green apples and honeysuckle.
While most believe Pinot Grigio originated in Italy, it was actually born in France where it is known as Pinot Gris. Pinot Gris grape skins are not green like other white grapes, but instead have a grayish blue hue, which gives them their name.
