Bridge Sangaree – The tale of two
Bridge Sangaree challenge the odds that Whisky is not a good candidate for cocktails, by mixing Red wine and Bourbon Whisky for a whole new level of fun and excitement.
Let’s look at the ingredients shall we?
2oz. Red wine
2oz. Bourbon Whisky
2 lemon wedges
5 mint leafs
Muddle cherries in a cocktail shaker. Add ice, simple syrup, wine, bourbon, and lemon slice. Shake and strain into a glass . Serve in white wine glass.
This preparation can serve about 1 glass.
Red wine : Used Red Merlot wine or any red wine.
Bourbon Whisky : Southern Cornford or Makers Mark recommended.
