Coconut and Coconut Water
The name coconut originated from seafarers during the 16th and 17th century for its resemblance to a head. The coconut shell reminded them of a ghost or witch, known in Portuguese folklore as coco.
Coconut water has variety of nutrients, especially the electrolytes potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium and phosphorus, as well as Vitamin C, some B vitamins, protein, fibre and antioxidants.
Fun Facts: Coconut water can even be used (in emergencies) as a substitute for blood plasma, it goes to show how it is undoubtedly the “Mother Nature’s sports drink” marketers in the United States claim it to be.
Now, let’s head to the ingredients section, heads up guys (pun intended)!
The Ingredients:
4oz. Coconut water
2oz. Lime juice
2oz. Revive Isotonic drink
1oz. Apple syrup

 

Preparation:
1. Mix coconut water, lime juice, apple syrup, ice, Revive isotonic drink and bled them altogether.
2. Strain into a short glass and garnish with an Apple wedge coated with apple syrup.
This preparation can serve about 5-7 glasses
